The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education is growing worldwide, fueled
by progress in machine learning and big data. While AI has the potential to
revolutionize teaching and learning by offering personalized experiences and
increasing engagement, its use in IEd requires thoughtful consideration. IEd focuses on
a holistic development of the learners which values intellectual, moral, and spiritual
growth, meaning that AI integration must align with these fundamental values.

review and a survey of 31 Islamic educators to gather their perspectives on the potential
and limitations of AI. The findings uncover both the potential benefits and challenges
of adopting AI, including concerns related to pedagogy, culture, and ethics. The study
concludes with practical recommendations for policymakers, educators, and
