Children literature is a broad category that includes various genres, including picture books. Picture books weave together words and images to create a multimodal experience that is both enjoyable and educational, helping children develop cognitive and learning skills. However, not all children can fully experience this. Visually Impaired (VI) and blind children often face difficulty in engaging with picture books. Tactile books play a role as an alternative, allowing VI and blind children to access some elements of the story, but they do not always provide a fully engaging or enjoyable experience. This paper is an attempt to create an audio-tactile storybook for VI and blind children, aiming to offer them a fun, interactive reading experience that supports autonomy and cognitive development.
