This research project aims to develop a mobile App facilitate learning about wildlife in Qatar. The main objective of the study was to assist users to learn more about the animals living in the country. The developed Application will help reveal the diets of the animals, the locations where they exist and their present conservation status. The Application incorporates design avatars to appeal to children and to match contemporary mobile design patterns. Similarly, the App enables users to capture images of the animals and also contains exclusive wildlife images authorized by the legal authorities. The App also supports a pop-up notifications page to provide users with news updates about the wildlife in Qatar. The novelty of the App is its use of animal icons relative to given natural habitats and the use of Google Maps to inform users whether a particular area is under conservation. An additional advantage of the mobile App is that, it informs users about the last seen date of wildlife animals. The mobile App is expected to encourage the population to value the importance of both environmental and animal protection in Qatar by contacting relevant authorities and wildlife departments. Finally, the proposed App integrates social media platforms in order to raise awareness on the violations against animal habitats. The App will be also be easy to use due to its support for iOS and Android devices. An additional HTML5 web-based application is expected to be developed in future._x000D_
