تعرضت هذه الدراسة إلى موقف الشيخ محمد الغزالي من دعاوى المستشرق اليهودي جولدتسيهر عن الإسلام، وقد جاءت هذه الدراسة في ثلاثة مباحث، المبحث الأول يتناول نشأة الشيخ محمد الغزالي و إنتاجه العلمي وموقفه من الاستشراق، أما المبحث الثاني فقد تعرض إلى نشأة المستشرق جولدتسيهر، وإنتاجه العلمي وموقفه من الإسلام، بينما عالج المبحث الثالث دعاوى المستشرق جولدتسيهر حول الشريعة والعقيدة في الإسلام وردود الشيخ محمد الغزالي عليها، وانتهت الدراسة إلى بعض النتائج والتوصيات، أهمها إبراز جهود الشيخ محمد الغزالي في الدفاع عن الإسلام والذود عن الثقافة الإسلامية، وأهمية الوقوف أمام الفكر الاستشراقي والتصدي لمخاطره. _x000D_

This study explained the attitude of Shaykh Muhammad al-Ghazali towards the claims of the Jewish orientalist Goldziher from Islam. This study is devided into three chapters. The first one highlights the biography of Sheikh Muhammad Al-Ghazali and his Islamic production and his attitude towards orientalism. The second chapter highlights the biography of the Orientalist Goldzhier and his attitude towards Islam, the last chapter focuses on the claims of Goldzhier on the Islamic doctrine and the responses of Sheikh Mohammed al-Ghazali. The study accentuated Sheikh Mohammed al-Ghazali's efforts in defending Islam and Islamic culture, and recommended the importance of standing up to the Orientalist thought and confronting its dangers.
