Abstract
An exact solution to vectorial two-beam mixing in photorefractive crystals with diffusion dominated build-up of gratings is obtained. Both the transmission and the reflection geometry of the process are treated equally using the novel solution procedure. Some applicative potential of the vectorial two-wave mixing is explored.
