Abstract

The reports from the IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy and the Almaden Institute Symposium on Privacy are presented. The IEEE Symposium on Security and Privacy focused on forum for academic and industry researchers to present computer security and electronic privacy research. The Security Windows Initiative (SWI) presented reports on securing legal code in MIcrosoft products. The survey reports from the Almaden Institute Symposium on Privacy focused on privacy for data systems. The symposium presented investigation on available techniques, problems of security industry and future of privacy protection.
