Abstract

The adsorption of Astrazone Blue (Basic Blue 69) on silica has been investigated. Adsorption parameters for the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were determined. A series of static and fluidised bed experiments were undertaken and the results compared with existing design models for adsorption columns.
