Abstract

The performance of a Micro Strip Gas Counter (MSGC) equipped with a Gas Electron Multiplier (GEM) has been studied in a cosmic hodoscope. Using Ne/DME gas mixtures, measurements have been performed to study gain, transparency and spatial resolution.
