Abstract
Continuous-wave multiple simultaneous visible laser emission was obtained using an aperiodic distribution of domain reversals in lithium crystals containing rare-earth laser active ions. The crystals were grown by the off-center Czochralski method by adding rare earth oxides to a congruent melt. Self-frequency conversion experiments were performed in a quasi-hemispherical cavity with end-pumping achieved by a tunable titanium-sapphire laser.
