Abstract

Numerical simulations of two-dimensional patterns in a bulk photorefractive crystals with a single feedback mirror were carried out. By using a relaxation-type integration scheme, the spontaneous formation of two-dimensional structures in the transverse-beam profiles, their longitudinal development within the nonlinear optical crystals, and effects of Fourier filtering on the mode-selection process were successfully taken into account.
