Abstract
Laboratory investigations and pilot-scale testing were carried out on treatment of oil-containing water of auto transport enterprises by ultrafiltration. Cellulose acetate (UAM-100, UAM-150, UAM-200, UAM-300, and UAM-500) and polysulfonamide (UPM-55) membranes were tested, as well as core filters (F-325, F-500) at a working pressure of 100-500 kPa and 15-41°C. It was shown that the optimal properties are characteristic of membranes of the type UAM-500, UAM-300, and F-325 with intermediate pore size at pressure of 200-300 kPa and high temperature. An analytical model of the process and membrane regeneration methods were proposed.
