Abstract

This paper revisits cascaded system with Kerr nonlinearity but in (2 + 1)-dimensions. Two forms of integration architecture lead to bright, dark and singular solitons to the model that will be useful in a variety of optoelectronic devices such as optical couplers, magneto-optic waveguides. Jacobi's elliptic function leads to soliton solutions after considering limiting values to the modulus of ellipticity.
