Abstract

The performance of M-ary differential phase shift keying (MDPSK) on frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channels with diversity combining in the presence of cochannel interference is analyzed. Presented are derived expressions for the average BER of MDPSK on frequency-selective Ricean fading channels employing post detection diversity combining in the presence of cochannel interference. Nyquist pulse shaping is used and differential detection is employed at the receivers.
