Abstract
Most OIC countries are on the list of developing countries. Digital technologies and digital sustainability are vital for sustainable development. This chapter intends to investigate the level of the “digital divide” using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to the Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) approach in selected OIC member countries and its implications for digital sustainability and sustainable development. The results show that the digital divide is visible and wide within OIC countries. Furthermore, the countries with a low level of the digital divide are performing better in sustainable development than those with a greater level of the digital divide. Countries can achieve the goal of sustainable development by reducing the digital divide.
