Abstract
We are living through a moment of profound transformation. The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has not only redefined how we think about productivity, knowledge, and governance but also begun to recast the architecture of financial systems worldwide. As algorithms increasingly shape decisions that were once the domain of human discretion, namely credit scoring, investment management, and risk assessment, the need to ask deeper questions about ethics, equity, and purpose becomes not a philosophical luxury but a practical necessity. For Islamic finance, a system built not merely on financial performance but on divine principles, the stakes are especially high.
