Abstract

The results of the growth of hafnium-erbium doped bulk periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystals using the off-center Czochralski technique were discussed. The PPLN samples obtained were analyzed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron probe microanalysis. The improvement in the formation of PPLN structures was suggested by the achievement of zones containing periodical alternating domain structure.
