Abstract

This paper studies highly dispersive optical solitons when self-phase modulation term is completely absent. The delicate balance for existence and sustaining of solitons is provided by self-steepening effect and nonlinear dispersions. The exp-function approach yields singular and bright-singular combo solitons.
