Abstract

This issue of Emerging Market Finance & Trade is composed of selected papers from the Conference on the "Transformation of the Turkish Economy" held at the Bogazici University Center for Economics and Econometrics in Istanbul on December 20, 2010.After benefiting from the discussions at the conference, the authors were given a deadlineto submit final versions of their papers. These versions of the papers passed through a double-blind referee and standard editorial processes of the journal. Certainly, the accepted papers benefited greatly from the comments of the anonymous referees and the guest edit.
