title = "Gas sensor based on RFID tag antenna for harsh environment",
abstract = "In this paper, Carbon Nanotubes (CNT) is used as a sensor for gas detection in underground environment. The sensor is designed on CNT-RFID Tag antenna by utilizing the CNT conductivity variation in presence of toxic gas (NH3). The patch structure is also made on CNT laid on a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) substrate. The sensor performance in terms of gas detected is simulated and analyzed using ANSOFT HFSS Software. The simulated results showed that the proposed antenna exhibits a good performance especially in terms of frequency shifting due to the impedance variation.",
