Abstract

The Association of Muslim Social Scientists UK (AMSS), in cooperation with the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT), the Muslim College, and Q-News Media Limited, organised a two day conference from the 21s to the 22nd of February 2004 entitled Figh Today: Muslims as Minorities. As one might imagine, the conference was attended by a number of eminent scholars and researchers involved in various fields of the social sciences from the UK, Europe and North America, who presented a variety of papers on this intriguing subject.
