Abstract

Effects of loading configuration and material properties on non-linear response of asphalt mixtures were discussed. Binder stiffness at different strain and frequency levels and hot mix asphalt (HMA) stiffness under shear and axial loading were studied. Results helps in describing the discrepancies between the axial and shear moduli.
