Abstract

This paper enumerates optical soliton solutions in birefringent fibers having generalized form of anti–cubic law of refractive index. The unified Riccati equation expansion yields dark, singular as well as solitons that are straddled between dark and singular ones. A few additional solutions emerge from the integration scheme as a byproduct.
