Abstract

Energy fundamentals volume comprehensively covered topics starting from energy units, conversions, and dimensional analyses to historical, environmental, socio-economic and justice, sustainability, ethics, educational, thermodynamic, heat transfer and fluid mechanic aspects of energy, in addition to several specific fundamental areas of this field including; exergy, energy and exergy efficiencies, exergoeconomic and exergoenvironmental analyses, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, all established renewable energy sources, energy storage, energy carriers, hydrogen energy, biofuels, energy systems integration, energy relations with air, water, soil, water, food and climate change, life cycle assessment, energy law and legal aspects of energy, energy optimization, energy and artificial intelligence, as well as energy innovation and future energy directions. The subsequent sections provide a detailed synthesis of the key arguments presented in each chapter, with the expectation that this comprehensive analysis will contribute meaningfully to the field.
