Abstract

The family laws of Gulf states have undergone noticeable transformations in the twenty-first century, driven by codification and justice system overhaul, diverging from traditional norms. Drawing on a qualitative empirical research study in Qatar from 2020 to 2023, this chapter examines subtle shifts in how younger generations pursue marriage partners in the digital age.
