Abstract

This chapter provides a review of Anglophone Arab literature that explores the diasporic condition of Arab and Muslim communities. It examines the rise of Anglophone Arab literature in the United States, Britain, and Canada and provides a synopsis of the history of the waves of Arab immigration. This chapter also introduces the works of prominent Anglophone Arab authors whose literary texts address diasporic issues of living between two worlds.
