Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In this paper, I intend to follow up on a Special Issue of the University of SydneyPapers in TESOL on Action Research, which was published in August 2017. First, Iwill present a summary of the Special Issue and then give a synopsis of the actionresearch studies published in the TESOL Quarterly journal over its lifespan (1967-June 2020). I will present a summary of the ten articles with action researchthemes that were published in the journal to raise consciousness among TESOLpractitioners and stakeholders about this type of research. I will also draw on thetrends found in these ten articles to make some recommendations to TESOLpractitioners in case they aspire to conduct and publish action research on theirown practices and issues of concern
