A Study on Comparative History and Lessons Learned from the Best International Experiences: Study of Chile, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Norway, and Singapore

This book is a comparative case study of the anti-corruption features of five of the world's least corrupt countries: Chile, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Norway, and Singapore. Chapter 1 is focused on the definition of corruption, its types, its causes and consequences, typical strategies, indicators, and the key global actors and instruments. Chapter 2-6 are the country-specific case studies in which their histories, laws/institutions/practices, key events, and selected cases are discussed. The book concludes with lessons learned. This book was written for the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (Qatar).
