Abstract

This paper presents a 4×4 tin oxide gas sensor array based on spike sequence matching. This integrated CMOS compatible gas identification system generates a unique spike sequence, which is only function of the sensed gas. In contrast to previously reported gas classification schemes, the proposed signature is independent of gas concentration. Reported experimental results validate the functionality of the fabricated 4×4 tin oxide gas sensor array.
