abstract = "This article presents a 15-bit wide input range sigma-delta ADC (ΣΔ-ADC) for lithium-ion battery monitoring system. With a low-voltage supply core, the proposed ADC utilizes sampling level shifting and reference scaling techniques to extend the input voltage range, and capable of quantizing a differential input signal from -5V to 5V with reference voltages of 1.8V and 0V. Implemented in a standard 180nm BCD technology, the proposed ADC operates at a sampling frequency of 256kHz, with an oversampling rate of 256. It achieves a signal-to-noise-and-distortion-ratio (SNDR) of 92.01dB while consuming 22.04μW from a 1.8V supply.",
