الاستقامة والقصد في الخطاب القرآني‎: قراءة في التعالق الدلا لي

This study represents an analytical reading of the semantic interaction between righteousness and intention in the Qur'anic discourse, as righteousness assumes a central value, as one of the central concepts in the ethical system, and plays an active role in framing life at the level of thought and behavior. God has described the human movement as an intentional movement framed within the controls of the straight line, based on an approach that relies on induction and semantic analysis, in order to know the semantic relationship between intention and rectitude, and to monitor the nature of this interdependence in the light of the framing Qur'anic texts to know the semantic relationship between them, and analyze it in the light of the textual data, based on the contextual study, and track the forms of this interdependence. The importance of this study is evident in the fact that it discusses a vital topic related to the purposes of succession, and the revelation of the objective conditions for the construction of moral action, through which we monitor the semantic field of intention and rectitude, and then we proceed to analyze the data of the interdependence between them, due to their close connection to the elements of moral theory, and their role in controlling the emotional content and value content of human beings.

This study is an analytical reading of the semantic interrelation between integrity (istiqāmah) and intent (qaṣd) in the Qur'anic discourse. Integrity assumes a central value as a pivotal concept in the moral system, playing an effective role in shaping life at conceptual and behavioral levels. Intent intersects with integrity in that it is an essential element in the semantic structure of this concept; for God Almighty describes human activity as intentional movement framed within the boundaries of the straight path. Opting for an approach of induction and semantic analysis, the authors seek to define the semantic relationship between intent and integrity, and monitor the nature of this interrelation in light of the relevant Qur'anic texts, depending on contextual studies and tracing the forms of this interrelation. The importance of this study derives from its vital topic, connecting it with the maqāṣid al-istikhlāf, purposes of human vicegerency, as well as from demarcating the objective conditions of a moral act. Throughout this, the authors monitor the semantic field of intent and integrity and analyze the data of the interrelation between them, given their close connection with moral theory, and their role in controlling emotional and human value content.
