Abstract

This project aims to understand the consumer perception of the circular economy, which will help identify key research areas to stimulate consumer engagement in the circular economy and sustainable consumption in Qatari society. The study will help to identify some of the key barriers to the transition to sustainable consumption focusing on the demand side of the circular economy. The project's outcomes will help address the obstacles to consumer involvement in circular practices and serve as a guide to awareness contents as an input national climate action plan, Qatar National Vision 2030, and global SDGs.
