Abstract
This three-day workshop, Generative AI and Data Storytelling for Inclusive and Progressive Education, will bring together national, regional, and international experts to explore how emerging technologies can drive innovation in education policy and practice. Through thematic sessions led by field experts, we will examine the integration of generative AI for personalized learning and adaptive assessment, and data storytelling for communicating complex educational outcomes to diverse stakeholders. Participants will analyze global trends, benchmark against international best practices, and address ethical considerations while co-creating policy innovation frameworks for equitable and inclusive AI adoption in Qatar’s education system. Interactive sessions will generate tangible outputs, including policy recommendations, prototype data storytelling tools, and a roadmap for pilot initiatives. By combining the analytical power of AI with the communicative strength of storytelling, the workshop will model a human-centered, evidence-based approach to advancing progressive education and achieving national and global education goals.
