Stem Cell Technology for Neurodevelopmental and Neurological Disorders

Project: Experimental Development/Translation Research

Project Details

Abstract

This project leverages cutting-edge stem cell technologies to advance our understanding of complex neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders. By integrating iPSC-derived organoids with advanced transcriptomics, this research will model critical conditions such as severe autism and HBSL. We aim to uncover cellular and molecular pathology, elucidating how neural cell interactions drive or mitigate disease. With access to patient-derived iPSC lines, protocols for organoid generation, and expertise in transcriptomic analysis, this project is positioned to reveal new insights into disease mechanisms. These findings will establish a robust platform for therapeutic innovation, bridging the gap between basic research and clinical application in CNS disorders.
