Abstract

The research proposes to study Qatar's foreign agricultural investments and its impact on food security in the light of blockade faced by Qatar and the Covid-19 pandemic and its subsequent policy announcing National Food Security Strategy 2023. The study will; 1. Assess Qatar's existing food security. 2. Country case studies of investments by Qatar in agricultural land in other countries 3. Recommendations to promote responsible agriculture by Qatar for its food security
