Abstract
The FULVIA project is an innovative endeavor aimed at advancing prenatal care across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. By harnessing the power of artificial intelligence (Al). our team seeks to enhance the analysis and interpretation of fetal ultrasound imaging, key aspect of prenatal care that enables early detection of abnormalities, ensuring a healthier start for newborns. Our project's primary focus is on developing Al algorithms capable of constructing and interpreting 3D images of the fetus from standard 2D ultrasound scans. This significant advancement will assist clinicians in diagnosing fetal anomalies more accurately and effectively, leading to better outcomes for both the mother and the baby). Our team is composed of experienced professionals from diverse fields. including artificial intelligence. medicine. business development. and administration. This interdisciplinary team will ensure the project addresses not only the technical and clinical aspects. but also the administration and commercial dimensions.
We will strictly adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements throughout the project. Ensuring that the research is conducted responsibly and with the utmost respect for all participants. Our work will involve a high level of collaboration and communication. with a strong focus on sharing our findings through scientific publications. conferences. and public engagement. The FULVIA project aligns with the priority theme of enhancing healthcare through technology. We believe that our work will significantly contribute to improving prenatal care in the MENA region. Setting a new standard in the field and paving the way for further advancements.
