Abstract
This research project aims to develop Qatar's tourism industry through eco-luxury and cultural heritage tourism in the post-2022 FIFA World Cup era. The proposal supports Qatar's economic diversification goals by targeting high-net-worth tourists interested in sustainable and culturally rich experiences. The methodology relies on secondary data analysis, including government reports, tourism statistics, and case studies from successful markets like Costa Rica, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Oman. The research objectives include analyzing global eco-luxury tourism trends, examining Qatar's tourism potential, proposing strategic recommendations, and providing actionable policy guidance. The project aims to align with Qatar's National Vision 2030 and leverages existing assets, including the UNESCO World Heritage site at Al Zubarah, focusing on attracting affluent travelers while preserving cultural heritage.
