Dynamic, Wellbeing-focused Solutions for Enhancing Thermal Energy Performance and Indoor Environmental Quality in Arid Regions

Project: Applied Research

Project Details

Abstract

This project aims to develop a data-driven, real-time HVAC management platform focusing on improving thermal energy performance and indoor environmental quality (IEQ). The platform utilizes advanced sensing technologies to monitor indoor environmental conditions such as temperature, relative humidity, and indoor pollutants, by incorporating predictive analytics to dynamically adjust HVAC operations. Environmental data, such as outdoor weather forecasts, will be integrated into the system to optimize energy use, improve occupant comfort, and ensure acceptable indoor air quality. The system will utilize AI-driven automation to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining data privacy and security.
