Project: Applied Research

Project Details

Abstract

This study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on sustainable finance by specifically focusing on its application in the charity sector both in Qatar and globally, which is currently an understudied area. The study will also have practical implications since the findings and recommendations will provide practical guidance to local and global charity organizations on how to effectively adopt and implement sustainable finance practices, leading to better financial sustainability and overall impact. Moreover, by encouraging the adoption of sustainable finance practices in the charity sector, the study aims to contribute to a more sustainable and responsible use of financial resources, resulting in positive social and environmental outcomes. Finally, the research findings can serve as a basis for policymakers and regulators in formulating policies and regulations that facilitate and promote the integration of sustainable finance practices in the charity sector.
