Abstract

This study explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), highlighting its potential to enhance education, healthcare, economic growth, and governance. It emphasizes the need to align AI with Islamic values such as justice, equity, and ethical stewardship. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the research assesses AI applications and challenges, including data privacy and algorithmic bias. It proposes strategies for ethical AI adoption rooted in Islamic principles, focusing on inclusive governance and public engagement. The study provides a culturally grounded framework to guide GCC policymakers in leveraging AI for sustainable development and societal empowerment.
