Abstract

This research project evaluates AI readiness in Qatar's financial institutions, examining the implementation of AI technologies in both Islamic and conventional financial sectors. The study aligns with Qatar's National AI Strategy and Digital Agenda 2024-2030, established by MOCIT across six pillars: education, data access, employment, business, research, and ethics. The project will assess institutions' AI preparedness by evaluating their capabilities, infrastructure, talent, and ethical AI practices. Through comparative analysis, the study will identify sector-specific challenges and effective strategies for AI adoption in different financial institutions. This initiative supports Qatar's vision of digital transformation and AI integration, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and foster innovative services. The findings will guide policymakers and financial leaders in advancing Qatar's AI-driven financial ecosystem.
