Project Details

Abstract

This project aims at analysing the accessibility of HBKU for students with disabilities. It will investigate the response of HBKU to the needs of people with disabilities, in order to offer a reliable diagnosis of the reality of our university system that will enable the necessary measures to be taken to guarantee the right of this group to access quality education in a context of increasing digitalisation. To this end, an empirical study will be carried out based on a wide range of qualitative and quantitative data (collected via questionnaires and in depth interviews) to identify both the needs of the various groups with disabilities and the actions carried out by HBKU. The overarching aim is to offer recommendations and guidelines for practice at HBKU to cater for the needs of students with disabilities.
