Biography

Dr. Mustafa Disli is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance and serves as the Program Director of the MSc Islamic Finance program at the College of Islamic Studies, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). He holds a BA in Economics, two MA degrees in Economics and Banking & Finance, and a PhD from Ghent University, Belgium.

Research Interests

Dr. Disli's research lies at the intersection of Islamic banking and finance, energy and sustainable economics, and behavioral economics and finance. His work has been published in leading academic journals and contributes to the evolving discourse on ethical, sustainable, and value-based finance.

Dr. Disli teaches courses on Islamic Banking and Financial Markets, Advanced Topics in Islamic and Sustainable Finance, and Behavioral Islamic Economics and Finance.
