Biography
Working as a Senior Scientist at QCRI, Anas is focused on working on the topic of ML systems engineering with emphasis on using state of the art MLOps techniques to streamline the development of AI systems. He is currently contributing solutions in this regard to the Fanar Arabic GenAI team.
Moreover, he is collaborating with the Humanitarian AI team focusing on using Computer Vision algorithms for the analysis of remote sensing data. His particular focus is on benchmarking VLMs in terms of performance in disaster related tasks.
