Biography

Dr. Abdul Salam Abd is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, with a background in petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, sustainable development, thermodynamics, and computational reservoir simulation. He completed his Ph.D. in Sustainable Development at HBKU, where his research focused on coupling rigorous three-phase equilibrium calculations with advanced discretization and linearization schemes for computational reservoir simulations. His current work focuses on developing thermodynamic equations of state and computational models for hydrogen storage applications in abandoned petroleum subsurface reservoirs.
